Winter Activites:
Of course skiing is the principle activity, but you can also take a ride in a dog
sledge, hire snow motors, make igloos and also, weather permitting, helecopter flights
over Andorra.
Summer Activites:
There is mountain walking, fishing and Romanic tours. This year GrandValira has
opened a 9 hole Golf Course (The highest in Europe). There is also karting, B.T.T.,
mini golf, horse riding and many other activities.
There is also the Palau de Gel (Ice rink) in Canillo, only 4 k. from the hotel,
with swimming pool, squash, gymnasium, and in Escaldes (15 k. away) the famous Caldea,
a paradise of thermal waters and treatments. But we must not forget “shopping”,
for which Andorra is also known. “Del Tarter” is in hotel for all seasons.
